The Little River Gallery has become a much-anticipated stop for those travelling from Christchurch to Little River. And visiting from all over NZ and abroad.
Offering a sophisticated rural design, this simple building draws the traveller into the depths of the unique gallery space.
Once inside, the shop area offers the visitor a treasure trove of desirable items., from books, jewellery to quirky little artifacts, all NZ made by our fabulous variety of artists.
The gallery space greets the visitor with a riot of colour, shape and texture. The exhibitions rotate on a monthly basis so there is always something new and interesting to tempt the discerning shopper. The outside garden space is full to the brim with interesting sculptural pieces from some of New Zealand’s pre-eminent artists and is a lovely place to stop and take breath and enjoy a great cup of coffee.
