I seek to achieve excellence in my work and continually explore new directions in jewellery materials and design. My jewellery is a creative medium by which I express what I value and my social and environmental concerns. The materials I use reflect my desire for the cessation of the exploitation of natural resources and the creation of a national and global caring for the earth. My techniques celebrate the contribution of indigenous art to New Zealand with the aim of promoting an understanding and valuing of indigenous culture.
