Anna Jacobi

Anna loves oars, a passion evolved from her love of sailing, sea life, nature and art. She has specialized in painting wooden nautical oars and collects character antique wooden oars, decorating them with paint, textured materials and decoupage. She enjoys the use of design, colour, interesting textures and space on both old and new oars, incorporating a unique nautical look. She continues exploring many facets of the art world including painting, calligraphy, mosaic and design.

When she is not painting Anna can be found working in her husband’s family business based in Auckland designing not oars but homeware products.
