Is to adorn with spirals.

The works are a continuation of an exploration into the torino (or spiral). It is found abundantly both metaphorically and as physical motifs, From the shape of the koru, the kowhaiwhai patterns, whakairo, natural patterns and forms, to the theory of time as a spiral down to the DNA of living things and to the shape of our constellations. Spirals are formed and ‘adorn’ Te Ao.

Intertwined with this are the various narratives of purakau (stories) from Papatuanuku and Ranginui and the space between, Te Ao Marama.
