Hamish Southcott is a Christchurch based artist working in mixed media, sculpture, and printmaking. He also produces furniture from reclaimed resources, including native wood and metal.


An environmental focus is at the core of Hamish’s art and these latest works continue this theme. Kea, Tui 2 and Kokako showcase New Zealand native birds, some of which are facing critical survival issues. Hamish focuses our attention on protecting New Zealand’s rich ecosystem for future generations.
